New Brunswick invites over 600 PNP and AIP candidates in latest immigration draws

Canadianow- Editor

The Government of New Brunswick issued invitations to provincial immigration candidates in a series of draws conducted between March 3 and March 6, 2026. Invitations were issued across three NBPNP streams, as well as through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), targeting candidates with experience in several priority sectors.

New Brunswick ran a series of selections from March 3 to March 6, 2026 and issued 622 invitations across provincial immigration streams and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). The province also published the cut-off EOI timestamp used for these selections: March 2, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST).

Total invitations and where they went

Based on New Brunswick’s published draw table, invitations were issued under:

  • New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream: 279 invitations
Target sectors: Health care; Education, social and community services; Construction trades; Professional occupations

  • New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream: 189 invitations
Target sectors: All sectors (Francophone-focused pathways)

  • New Brunswick Express Entry Stream: 29 invitations (Employment in New Brunswick pathway)
Target sectors: Health care; Education, social and community services; Construction trades; Professional occupations

  • Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP): 125 invitations
Target sectors: Health care; Education, social and community services; Construction trades; Professional occupations; Transportation; Manufacturing

What this means for candidates

These results suggest New Brunswick is still prioritizing core public services and trades, plus additional occupations under AIP (transportation and manufacturing). If your work experience matches these sectors, it may improve your chances when you submit an EOI—especially if you are already working in New Brunswick.

Internal guidance for readers:

  • If you are in New Brunswick and working full-time, review the NB Express Entry Stream – Employment in New Brunswick requirements (work authorization, 12 months in NB, TEER 0–3 job).

  • If your pathway is employer-driven (AIP), remember the job offer must be endorsed by the province before you can apply for PR through AIP.

Reality check

  • An invitation depends on New Brunswick’s current labour priorities and your profile details. Even in targeted sectors, selection is not guaranteed.

  • Program rules and intake patterns can change quickly. Always verify stream requirements directly on the Government of New Brunswick pages before you plan around a draw.
