Ontario (OINP)

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is Ontario’s provincial nominee program. It lets Ontario nominate some applicants for permanent residence based on labour market needs. A nomination is not permanent residence by itself — after nomination, you still apply to IRCC, and IRCC makes the final decision.

OINP uses two intake systems:
– Expression of Interest (EOI) system (you register and may receive an invitation to apply)
– Express Entry system (you must have an Express Entry profile and receive a notification of interest from Ontario)
