Start with the maximum: $8,157 a year ($679.75 a month) for each child under 6 and $6,883 a year ($573.58 a month) for each child aged 6 to 17. Then subtract the income reduction:

|---|---|---|
| 1 | 7% of income over $38,237 | $3,123 + 3.2% of income over $82,847 |
| 2 | 13.5% | $6,022 + 5.7% |
| 3 | 19% | $8,476 + 8% |
| 4 or more | 23% | $10,260 + 9.5% |
