OINP Draws 2026: Ontario PNP Invitation Tracker and the New Workforce Priority Stream

Last updated: September 24, 2026. This page tracks every Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invitation round in one place and is updated after each draw. 2026 is a transition year: Ontario closed its old streams in June and launched a single new stream, so the history below is split in two.

Quick Answer

As of September 24, 2026, Ontario has not yet held a draw under the new Ontario Workforce Priority stream. The expression of interest (EOI) portal opened on August 4, 2026. The last rounds under the former streams were held in April 2026, and Ontario has said it will issue no further invitations under those streams and will withdraw EOIs that were not invited.

What Changed in 2026

On June 26, 2026, amendments to Ontario Regulation 422/17 took effect and replaced eight OINP streams — Employer Job Offer (Foreign Worker, International Student, In-Demand Skills), Masters Graduate, PhD Graduate, and the three Express Entry streams (Human Capital Priorities, French-Speaking Skilled Worker, Skilled Trades) — with the Ontario Workforce Priority stream. It has three pathways:

  • Job offers in TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupations
  • Job offers in TEER 4 or 5 occupations
  • Self-employed physicians, who do not need a job offer

Every pathway except physicians needs an Ontario job offer. Ontario says language, education and work experience requirements vary by pathway; check the official program page before registering. Not sure of your TEER level? Use the NOC Code Finder.

How the New Stream Is Scored (130 Points)

Factor Maximum points
Ontario work experience 18
Work region 15
Compensation (hourly wage) 15
Official language proficiency 15
Occupational category 10
Level of education 10
Canadian educational credentials 10
Bilingualism (English and French) 10
Temporary resident status 10
Occupation skill level (TEER) 9
Canadian income tax history 8
Total 130

Language points step up from CLB 6 (4 points) to CLB 9 or higher (15 points). Work permit holders score more than study permit holders for temporary resident status, and Ontario work experience carries the single largest weight — which favours people already working in the province.

FW = Foreign Worker, IS = International Student, IDS = In-Demand Skills. April 2026 alone brought 8,058 invitations across these rounds; the March 25 regional rounds added 1,112. Earlier 2026 rounds are covered in our report on the first OINP draws of 2026.

What This Means If You Are Already in Ontario

  • If you had an EOI in a former stream and were not invited, Ontario is withdrawing it — you need to register again under the new stream.
  • You need an Ontario job offer for every pathway except self-employed physicians. Without one, look at Express Entry or other provinces (PNP options without a job offer).
  • TEER 4 and 5 workers now have an Ontario pathway, which the old system largely limited to specific In-Demand Skills occupations. See PR routes for TEER 4 and 5 workers.
  • If your work permit is running out while you wait for a draw, plan the permit first: options while waiting for PR.

Update Log

  • September 24, 2026: tracker launched; no Ontario Workforce Priority stream rounds yet.
