Updated July 2026. On November 26, 2025, IRCC held its 13th Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Express Entry draw of the year, issuing 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) with a CRS cutoff of 531.
Draw Details
This continued a pattern of consistent CEC-specific rounds, with the CRS cutoff holding in the narrow 531-534 range across several consecutive draws. Candidates who shared the exact cutoff score of 531 were prioritized by profile submission time, with the tie-break threshold set at profiles submitted before October 8, 2025 at 3:02 p.m. EST.
The Bigger Picture: A Crowded Pool
As of November 24, 2025, there were 246,656 candidates in the Express Entry pool — a reflection of how competitive the system has become, with hundreds of thousands of candidates competing for a limited number of invitations in each round.
What This Means If You’re in the CEC Pool
Consistent, smaller CEC draws like this one (1,000 ITAs at a time) mean incremental movement rather than dramatic drops in the cutoff score. If your CRS score sits just above 530, you’re in a reasonably competitive position for CEC-specific rounds; if you’re below that, focus on the factors that move your score fastest — additional Canadian work experience, stronger language test results, or a provincial nomination.
