Updated July 2026. On December 10, 2025, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 1,133 invitations to apply across five separate draws — its first activity after a roughly two-month pause. The draws spanned three OINP streams: Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, Employer Job Offer: International Student, and Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills.
Foreign Worker Stream — Healthcare & ECE General Draw
398 invitations went to candidates with job offers in high-demand healthcare roles or early childhood education (NOC 42202). Eligible profiles were created between July 2, 2025 and December 10, 2025, with scores of 49 and above. Occupations included nursing coordinators, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, midwives, allied health professionals, licensed practical nurses, nurse aides, orderlies, patient service associates, and early childhood educators. Physicians (NOC 31100, 31101, 31102) were not included in this round.
Foreign Worker Stream — REDI Pilot (Regional Draw)
Candidates in Canada with a job offer in one of the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot communities — Lambton, Lanark, or Leeds and Grenville — were also invited (a fourth REDI community, Thunder Bay, participates in the broader pilot as well). Targeted occupations spanned advertising, marketing, and public relations professionals; accounting technicians and bookkeepers; administrative assistants; pharmacists; carpenters; heavy-duty equipment mechanics; electrical mechanics; and agricultural service contractors and farm supervisors.
International Student Stream — Healthcare & ECE General Draw
659 invitations went to international students with job offers in the same healthcare and early childhood education occupations as the Foreign Worker stream draw, with profiles created in the same July-December window and scores of 73 and above. Physician NOC codes were again excluded.
International Student Stream — REDI Pilot (Regional Draw)
International students with employer-submitted job offers in the same REDI regions were invited for occupations including administrative services managers, financial analysts, accounting technicians, bookkeepers, administrative assistants, web designers, electrical engineering technologists, electronic service technicians, pharmacy technical assistants, machinists, carpenters, construction millwrights, automotive service technicians, roofers, and food and beverage processing supervisors.
In-Demand Skills Stream — REDI Pilot Only
This draw was entirely REDI-focused, targeting home support workers, material handlers, mineral and metal processing machine operators, food and beverage processing control operators, electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors, and food and beverage processing labourers.
What Invited Candidates Need to Know
If you received an invitation on December 10, your application now appears under a new file number with a “JOXX” prefix — your older Expression of Interest file number is no longer active and should be disregarded. Ontario has continued to rely on this employer-driven, targeted-draw model through 2026, reflecting sustained demand for healthcare workers, early childhood educators, skilled trades professionals, and food processing workers across the province.
