How are Quebec’s holidays different from the rest of Canada?
Quebec observes National Patriots’ Day instead of Victoria Day, has its own Fête nationale on June 24, and does not have Family Day, Boxing Day, Remembrance Day or the August civic holiday as statutory holidays.

What are the rules for the Fête nationale?
June 24 is a holiday for almost every employee in Quebec, with its own law. In 2027 it falls on a Thursday.
When June 24 is a Sunday, the holiday moves to June 25. That does not happen in 2027.
